The Kole T. Kendall Anchored Navigation Project will proudly offer a memorial scholarship to a deserving high school senior who desires to enter any branch of the armed services and/or mental health counseling program to support the military. This scholarship targets students who have shown a steadfast commitment to community service and aspire to extend their service into the military or law enforcement sectors and/or mental health counseling, focusing on assisting military personnel and families post-graduation.

Reflecting on the values that Kole embodied—dedication, discipline, and teamwork—this scholarship program honors these characteristics essential for both team sports and service-oriented professions. Eligible candidates are high school seniors maintaining a minimum 2.90 GPA and demonstrating experience in team sports, reflecting the cooperative and strategic mindset beneficial in military, law enforcement, or counseling roles. The selection process gives additional consideration to candidates demonstrating outstanding leadership and teamwork skills. The scholarship aims to alleviate the educational and financial challenges young patriots or college students face while devoted to the noble pursuit of national service or support of those in a national security position.

Scholarship recipients will receive their awards following the successful completion of their basic training or academy education. Awarded students following a traditional educational path will have their scholarship mailed directly to their higher education institution after receipt of a copy of their school acceptance letter and financial obligation. Interested students can submit their applications via email at anchorednavigation@gmail.com or by mail at the address below starting January 15, 2025. The application deadline is March 30, 2025.
